Civil and Commercial Litigation
I began my career as a Crown prosecutor, developing strong advocacy skills and extensive courtroom experience early on. I then transitioned to civil and commercial litigation within a larger firm.
With over 10 years of experience as a fully bilingual lawyer, I have represented clients in a wide range of high-stakes disputes, including contractual matters, shareholder conflicts, real estate litigation, estate disputes, municipal law, construction law, and employment-related issues. I have successfully led complex matters before various courts, including the Court of Appeal.
Throughout my career, I have delivered conferences and training to associations, elected officials, and fellow lawyers, and have contributed to legal publications. I have also trained students and young lawyers.
I approach each matter with a clear focus on what is truly at stake. I am known for stepping into complex situations, identifying what matters, and moving files forward with clarity and direction. I am comfortable handling demanding cases and navigating complex adversarial dynamics.
I also recognize that legal disputes can be demanding on a personal level. I guide my clients with clarity and steadiness throughout the process, ensuring they feel informed, prepared, and supported at every stage.
In addition to my legal practice, I hold degrees in law (LL.B.) and anthropology (B.A., with distinction), and was recognized on the Dean’s List during my legal studies.
I was the co-recipient of the Prix Natacha Binsse-Masse (Fondation UQAM), awarded for a concrete commitment to the protection of human rights and freedoms, and I serve on the board of directors of Promutuel Assurance Alta, where I act as President of the Ethics Committee.
I founded Sivret Légal to offer a more direct, efficient, and client-focused approach to litigation.
